Hi Dennis, it's been said before, fantastic site. It's great to see how much enthusiasm there is out there for the fix and how this site has become a touchstone for the fixated.
Here is my latest project, a 70's? 531 Falcon. Not the pristine show pony but she's certainly beautiful to ride and probably my favorite bike in the stable so far. Has nice chrome work for the dropouts, front lugs and fork as well as wrap over seat stays and a nice bronze paint finish. Components: Fluted Shimano 600 170mm Cranks, Suntour Cyclone bb, 3ttt necked stem with their City/Sports handle bars, Suntour Cyclone pedals, Shimano 600 aero lever and side pull, Rear Dura-Ace high flange track hub with 16T sprocket, Record front hub laced to a GP4 rim, Campag aero seat post and I splashed out on a new Brooks B17. Gearing is 42 x 16.
Thanks go to my good friends and part pimps Jonty Ritchie at Revolution Bicycles [revolutionbicycles@paradise.net.nz] in Wellington New Zealand and Pete Thornton at the Bike Shack.
