A second fixed Bike Friday for your great site. I use it everyday as a commuter bike. My commute consists of an hour train ride (they only allow collapsible bikes) and a 7 mile bike ride each way. It is the second production fixed Pocket Rocket based upon Walter Lapchynski’s (#757) original one. It has the heavier Pocket Rocket frame but still weighs only 18.5# even with the old Look pedals. It was designed as a fixie so we left off all of the typical Bike Friday cable guide and front derailleur braze-ons. The component configuration is almost the same as Walter’s (Surly rear hub, Shimano 105 cranks, Chris King Gripnut headset, Alex390 rims) except I used a cheap SunRace sealed bearing front hub, Profile Stoker handlebars with a DiaComp aero brake lever and Tektro caliper. The commute is flat so I am using a 52-14 (75” on the 451 wheels). My recent addition was a Surly Tuggnut that greatly speeds up setting the chain tension, especially on cold winter mornings, and provides a little insurance for the quick release.
