This is a 1987 or 1988 Nashbar Mountain Bike my dad purchased on closeout as a loaner bike for friends and family to use. That didn't pan out for him so he donated it to me in the mid '90s to use as a winter commuter. When the salt and sand destroyed the drivetrain I converted it to a fixed gear. It's a typical winter setup: Nokian Mount and Ground tires, Planet Bike Fenders, Wellgo BMX pedals, Nitto Moustache bars, Nitto Technomic stem, Cinelli cork tape (baby blue to match the white-to-baby-blue paint job), and a baby blue suede saddle (a replacement for the original). I run a Weinemann front brake lever mounted cyclocross style on the right and a Shimano canti. I run a 38x17 drive train most of the time. Currently, I'm running a Surly new- style cog but the chainrings and cogs are usually whatever is in stock at my LBS.

Paypal donation will show up under sburns@class.cla.umn.edu. I have other pictures so maybe I'll update if you post this. Thanks.
