Finally I get to post a bike to the famous FGG!!!

I stumbled across your site and discovered fixies about 3 years ago... Finally had a rear wheel built (by the very cool staff at naturalcycle.ca) about a year and a half ago and had it on a painted peugeot I name 'fonzerelli'... I decided this year to put the wheel on this chrome sekine I also had in the shed... Sekine is a japanese bike built in manitoba, canada in the ealry 70's... It was a training-type work initiative thing setup by the government.. (There is a good thread at bikeforums.net that has some good info, search sekine... Ask for T-mar...).. i think this one is one of the higher end sekines.. I tried to put as much silvery stuff on it as possible to keep the chrome look.... The front wheel is nothing special... I do have a used front wheel coming from ebay with campy hub and mavic rim and can't wait... plus, I met a guy down the street who used to race track at our local velodrome, before it was tore dwon... He says he's got some bike stuff in his mom's bsmnt and mentioned campy parts!! I can't wait to see that stuff!

Anyways, this bike is a work in progress and I plan on keep it as chromed out as possible with some vintage parts.... And slowly working and learning...

My 15yo kid has also expressed interest in havng a fixie built up.... except with brakes! So with the frames and extra stuff I have I should be able build hm one when I collect more stuff...

I'd also like to give a shout-out to another bike shop that has been great to me, *alteregosports.com/* Thanks for maintaining such an awesome site!! Everyone at work now knows what "bike porn" is! Paypal is on the way!!
