Hey Dennis thanks always for the wonderful website full of inspiration! Attached are photos of my commuter, a Nishiki Sport that I converted myself this past December. I found it at Goodwill in pretty bad condition and started giving it some love. After stripping it down to the frame I rebuilt the bottom bracket and headset bearing, added a Cinelli stem and added some EBay wheels made by XRP. My commute is 18 miles each way so I tossed on some bright, be-seen-in-traffic red Michelins and a Novaro bag with Delta rack for hauling work clothes and lunch. It has been a reliable way to get to work and with a 42 x 16 I keep a nice spin and great speed in traffic.

Dallas isn't the greatest place to commute, but I have found enough side roads and traffic-free areas to make it safely to and from the office at the height of rush hour. I look forward to seeing more great rides and my donation will be coming your way soon. Take care and thank you all for the inspiration to get fixed!
