This is a 1976 Motebecane Nomade that I got from a buddy that had been sitting in a basement for almost 15 years.

I upgraded it with all modern components except the front brake which I just though was groovy.

I used a threadless adapter to allow me to use a modern stem.

The Origin 8 crank, seat, bullhorns/grip tape are nice additions.

The Holdfast straps and Animal pedals keep me secure when I'm cranking.

The bike is solid and the Deep V's with Formula hubs and Surly 17t cog makes it go fast.

It's a good bike with a combo of old school and new school flavor.

I'd also like to give a big shout out to Baltimore Bicycle Works where I got the wheels, pedal, and straps from. Thanks,

Sam Baltimore, MD
