Dear Dennis,
Attached are some images of my Cinelli Olympic track frame built up for road fixed gear riding.
Cinelli Olympic track frame, yellow paint, 58 cm, Italian threaded TA Axix 107mm BB, TA Alize Crank w/46 tooth chainring, high flange Campagnolo Pista hubs, Mavic Open Pro rims, Campagnolo Chorus headset, HKK NJS chain, 19t Euro-Asia imports cog, Nitto NJS steel bar and stem, NOS Campy Gran Sport front brake caliper, single Shimano 600 brake lever, chromed Tange road fork, Brooks Professional saddle, Campy Chorus Ti seat post. In the picture it has MKS track pedals but I am about to put some NOS Campagnolo Croce d'Aune pedals on it that I just got.
I bought the frame at American Cyclery in SF after admiring it hanging there for several years!
I have been riding this thing since it was built up a few weeks ago by Hiroshi Iimura (designer of the 'Ebisu' frames) of Jitensha Studio in Berkeley (www.jitensha.com). He found some of the parts for me and did a great job of putting it together.
My next project is a 1976 Gitane track frame I found on Ebay. Its going to be fixed-no-brakes and I'll send a picture along to you soon.
I love your web site and it was very helpful in thinking about how to put this bike together. Please keep up the excellent work!
Sincerely, Chris Plummer - Berkeley, California
