Mike DeSalvo Mike builds both steel and titanium bikes. About 30% are fixed gear and single speed. Heís another builder that learned at the UBI frame building school, and went on to teach there too.
He loves building fixed gear bikes because the simplicity of form they represent.
Mike: "A lot of itís the enjoyment. I enjoy the process and I enjoy the machines, itís pretty gratifying to build them up."
