Dennis, Here's my trusty Fuji Sagres fixed-gear that I built last winter. It's got 3ttt bars, Nitto stem, Sun M-13 II rims laced to a Suzue flip-flop rear hub (16t cog, no freewheel) and Normandy high-flange front hub (front radially laced), Sugino cranks w/42t chainwheel, Shimano 105 pedals, cheapo saddle. The brake system in the photo is Dia-Compe, but I'm currently riding brakeless and in the process of putting on a Modolo lever with a Gipiemme front brake, the fork just needs a little extra drilling. There's a jack of spades in the rear spokes, put there by my comrade Joey who built my wheels. This is my first fixie, done on the cheap, and it certainly won't be my last. It's not glamourous, but I love it to death and it gets me to class quickly and in style. Thanks for the great site. Cheers, John Stehlin Poughkeepsie, NY jostehlin@vassar.edu
